Upgrade your entrances and walkways with poured-in-place EPDM rubber surfacing — a seamless, slip-resistant solution designed for safety, durability, and long-term performance.

At Unique Floors Ontario (UFO), we install rubber surfaces that improve traction, appearance, and reliability for residential and commercial entryways.
A Safer, More Reliable Walking Surface
Entrances and walkways are high-traffic areas that must remain safe and accessible in all conditions.

Traditional surfaces like concrete and stone can become:
-
Slippery when wet
-
Uneven over time
-
Prone to cracking and deterioration

Our rubber surfacing system is designed to:
✔ Improve traction in wet and high-traffic conditions
✔ Provide a soft, cushioned surface underfoot
✔ Reduce tripping hazards from cracks or uneven areas
✔ Deliver a clean, seamless finish
Ideal for:
-
Front entrances
-
Walkways and pathways
-
Side yard access routes
-
Commercial entry points
Built for Ontario Weather & Daily Use
Walkways and entrances in Ontario are exposed to:
-
Rain and moisture
-
Freeze-thaw cycles
-
Seasonal wear and foot traffic
-
Surface shifting over time

Our EPDM rubber system is built to:
✔ Expand and contract with temperature changes
✔ Maintain grip and safety in wet conditions
✔ Resist cracking and surface breakdown
✔ Provide long-term durability with minimal maintenance
Unlike rigid materials, rubber remains flexible — helping maintain a safe, consistent walking surface over time.

Our Installation Process
Our rubber surfacing is mixed on-site, poured, and hand-troweled in place. The installation process is clean, efficient, and typically completed within a single day.

As a troweled-in-place system, the rubber surface bonds directly to your existing base, filling minor imperfections and uneven areas during installation. If your walkway or entrance requires repairs or leveling, our team will complete all necessary preparation before applying the surface.

Unlike traditional materials, rubber surfacing does not require expansion joints or saw cuts. The system remains flexible, allowing it to adapt to temperature changes and surface movement over time.

All existing cracks and joints are filled to create a smooth, continuous finish.

After installation:
-
Avoid foot traffic for 24–48 hours (depending on temperature and humidity)
-
Resume regular use after approximately 7 days

Once complete, your walkway or entrance will provide a safe, durable, and visually clean surface for everyday use.
